SBC Summit Lisbon 2025: 30,000+ Attendees, 700 Exhibitors, and Honest Feedback from Our Partners
Lisbon Becomes the Center of iGaming
From September 16-18, the Portuguese capital once again became the global hub for iGaming and sports betting as SBC Summit 2025 took over Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena.
The scale was record-breaking:
- 30,000+ attendees from over 130 countries
- Around 700 exhibitors spread across five massive halls
- 135,000 m² of expo space
- Dozens of conference tracks, including new geographically focused stages on Latin America and Africa
- Hot topics like responsible AI, player protection, compliance, and localization
Networking zones, tech academies, and high-profile keynotes created an environment where innovation and strategy were front and center.
For CasinoRIX, this was also an opportunity to hear directly from our partners about what they experienced on the ground.
Partner Insights from SBC Lisbon 2025
We gathered six perspectives from industry leaders. Here’s what they shared with us:
Artur Movchaniuk, Business Development Manager at Slotegrator
This year’s summit introduced geographically focused tracks and new networking zones, allowing Slotegrator to connect with key partners from every corner of the world and gain new insights into emerging markets such as Latin America and Africa, as well as getting fresh ideas related to localization and mobile-first experiences.
Hot topics at the conference included regulatory compliance, player protection, and the responsible use of AI.
The summit highlighted how innovation and collaboration can drive strategic growth, equipping operators with the insights and tools they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive iGaming landscape.
Maks Berazinski, CEO of Tribuna.com
An excellent conference organization that allowed us to focus on networking and meetings with numerous partners, rather than standing in line for the food court or restroom. And this is despite the fact that the conference was spread across five huge halls and hosted more than 30,000 participants.
The mix of dozens of companies from different parts of the world provided the opportunity to meet in person with those we had only communicated with online, which of course helps build stronger relationships. We are now developing our iGaming media and the conference turned out to be a perfect place to showcase our product to the industry.
Valiantsina Dubavets, Marketing Lead at 1spin4win
The SBC Summit 2025, like other expos, is becoming increasingly creative. Walking among the stands, you can see how much effort exhibitors put into showcasing new games, brand identities, and more. At 1spin4win, we aim to make a memorable impression on visitors by bringing exclusive releases to the event. This time, it was ‘Great Hook Hold and Win’. We created dedicated merchandise, a mascot, and a themed stand for the game. This helped us distinguish ourselves and draw everyone’s attention. Product presentation is also becoming an essential part of participating in expos, especially for slot providers.
Vanna Kraljevic, BDM Betbazar
The Betbazar team had an outstanding experience at SBC Lisbon 2025, three days of valuable meetings, inspiring discussions and new opportunities. We were delighted to connect with partners, clients, and industry peers, exchanging insights and building stronger relationships. A special highlight was showcasing our core products, Live Data Feed and AI Cricket and to see how much interest and excitement they spark across the industry. We’re leaving Lisbon inspired and ready for the next event!
Sasha Kozymir, Head of Account Management at Gamzix
At Gamzix, we now have a clear roadmap of game releases through the end of the year. This enables us to showcase game details one season ahead, provide concrete release dates, and introduce new pre-release opportunities for our partners. At SBC Summit, our main focus was to highlight this roadmap and with the help of our interactive game map, we presented our diverse portfolio in a dynamic and engaging way.
Comment from Stars Partners
SBC in Lisbon once again gathered an impressive number of industry players and created many opportunities for business meetings. However, from an organizational perspective, this year brought several challenges.
The main issue was with the layout: some promised entrances and walkways ended up being positioned differently than presented during the sales process. As a result, a number of stands designed for high traffic found themselves in low-visibility corners, which understandably caused frustration for exhibitors, including major brands.
The exhibition still brought together a great number of attendees and businesses, making it a strong platform for conversations and networking. At the same time, the organizational side was not as good as expected, so we will carefully consider whether to attend again in the future.
Final Thoughts
SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 proved once again why it is considered one of the most important gatherings in the global iGaming calendar. The sheer scale, international scope, and diversity of discussions made it a magnet for innovation and networking.
At the same time, our partners’ honest feedback shows both sides of the coin: while the event offers unparalleled exposure and relationship-building opportunities, organizational details still leave room for improvement.
For the industry, the takeaway is clear: SBC Lisbon remains a can’t-miss platform, but expectations for smooth delivery and exhibitor experience are rising. The 2025 edition has set the bar high in scale, and the community will be watching closely to see how organizers refine the experience in future years.
