This page ranks online casinos that are authorized to accept players in Ontario, using CasinoRIX testing and ratings submitted by our users. Every casino in the ranking is registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operates under an agreement with iGaming Ontario. We review each one with a funded account, checking deposits, withdrawals, identity verification, games, mobile use and support. Further down you will find how to confirm a site is authorized yourself, how to self-exclude from every Ontario site at once with BetGuard, and what to do if a casino won’t pay.
CasinoRIX is an independent casino review site.
Buttons like “Play now” and “Get bonus” are affiliate links: if you register or deposit at a casino through them, the operator may pay us a commission. This never costs you anything extra – commissions are paid by casinos, not by players, and do not change the bonuses or terms you.

Gambling is not an investment. Casino games are entertainment with a built-in house edge — over time, the odds always favour the operator. Never play to make money, recover losses or pay bills, and only wager what you can afford to lose.

LuckyDays launched internationally in 2019 and entered Ontario’s regulated market in 2022. Operated by L7 Entertainment Ltd., it has 1,500+ games, with slots making up most of the catalogue alongside table and live dealer games. The minimum deposit is $10, and its cashier includes Interac, iDebit, cards and MuchBetter. There is no dedicated mobile app, but the casino works through mobile browsers.
A casino’s own promotional pages describe what it offers. Our reviews check what actually happens after you sign up. Testers register, pass identity verification, deposit real money, play on desktop and mobile, contact support and request a withdrawal. Casinos do not see or approve our reviews before we publish them.
A review scores the areas that affect Ontario players most: licensing and operator transparency, payments and withdrawals, games, mobile performance, customer support, account security and responsible gambling tools. The rating combines our findings with ratings from CasinoRIX users. Payment problems or unresolved complaints lower a casino’s rating or remove it from our recommendations, whatever else it does well. The details are in our casino ranking methodology and editorial guidelines.
CasinoRIX is free to use. When a reader follows a link to a partner casino and signs up or deposits, we may earn a commission. You pay nothing extra, and a commission never buys a higher rating or removes criticism from a review. See our affiliate disclosure.

Ontario opened its regulated online casino market to private operators on April 4, 2022. Since then, two bodies share the work:
A private casino is authorized in Ontario only when it has both an AGCO registration and an iGO operating agreement. The one exception is OLG.ca, which the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation runs directly. As of September 1, 2026, the market had 49 regulated operators offering 84 gaming websites. Operators join, leave and rebrand, so the iGaming Ontario directory is the source to check for the current list.
Who can play: you must be 19 or older. You can open an account and access an existing one from outside Ontario, but you can only place wagers while you are physically in the province. Regulated sites confirm this with geolocation checks.
Sites outside the regulated market: casinos licensed outside Ontario but not registered and authorized in the province are not part of Ontario’s regulated iGaming market. iGO has no legal relationship with them and does not handle disputes about them, so they do not give you the same provincial player protections or the Ontario complaint process.
Find the casino and operator name
The footer or terms should name the company that runs the site.
Search the iGaming Ontario directory
Look up the brand in the regulated iGaming market directory. The AGCO’s list of registered internet gaming operators shows the operator’s registration.
Confirm the exact website
Many brands run a separate Ontario site next to their international one, with its own games, payment methods and account terms. Make sure the address you are on is the one listed in the directory.
Don’t rely on the footer alone
If the brand or domain is not in the directory, the site is not authorized in Ontario, whatever licence logos it shows.
Regulated Ontario casinos carry the same core categories (slots, live dealer, table games), but the catalogue on a brand’s Ontario site can differ from its international version. A big game count says little on its own, so we check:
The mix of slots, live casino and table games, and how many studios supply them.
Whether the return-to-player percentage is shown and easy to find. Some slots come in several RTP versions, so the figure at a given casino matters.
How a game behaves and whether its bet range suits your budget.
Finding games by provider, category or feature without scrolling the whole lobby.
Loading, navigation and stability in the browser or app.
Regulated Ontario casinos work in Canadian dollars, and most offer Interac alongside cards, e-wallets and prepaid options. Which methods a specific casino supports, and its limits and fees, vary by operator, so check the cashier before you deposit, and especially check whether your method also supports withdrawals.
| Method | Deposits | Withdrawals | Approx. time after the casino approves a withdrawal |
| Interac e-Transfer | Yes | Yes, at supported casinos | Usually minutes; up to 30 minutes depending on the bank |
| Visa / Mastercard | Yes | Varies by casino and issuing bank | Instant to 3 business days |
| E-wallets (e.g. MuchBetter) | Yes | Yes | Usually within minutes |
| Paysafecard | Yes | Usually not directly | — |
| iDebit / Instadebit | Yes, at some casinos | Yes, at some casinos | Varies by casino |
| Bank transfer | Yes | Yes | 1–5 business days |
These are payment-processing times, not casino payout times. Before any money moves, the casino has to approve the withdrawal: identity verification, security checks, and its own pending period can add hours or days. Our reviews record how long the full process took in our test.
CasinoRIX only lists online casinos that are authorized to operate in Ontario. A casino may be added to our blacklist if we identify serious unresolved issues during testing, receive substantiated player complaints, or have significant problems working with the operator as a partner.
There are currently no Ontario online casinos on our blacklist. We review casino statuses as new information becomes available and update this section when necessary.
Complain to the casino formally
Use its complaint process in writing (email or live chat), describe the withdrawal (date, amount, method) and ask for a complaint or reference number. Every regulated operator must have a complaint process.
Escalate to iGaming Ontario if it isn’t resolved
Quote your complaint number and include the operator’s reply. iGO reviews complaints about operators in the regulated market. It cannot award compensation or refund wagers, but it can look into how the operator handled your case. See iGaming Ontario player support.
Report regulatory issues to the AGCO
Suspected illegal activity, responsible-gambling failures and misleading advertising are matters for the regulator. See AGCO internet gaming complaints.
Ask CasinoRIX for help with a partner casino
Our support team can pass an unresolved case to the operator and ask it to review it. We cannot access your account, approve a withdrawal or guarantee an outcome.
Keep screenshots, emails, chat transcripts and transaction details throughout. Note that this route exists only for regulated sites: iGO does not handle disputes with casinos outside Ontario's market.
Confirm the brand and exact website in the iGaming Ontario directory before anything else.
Check that your method works for withdrawals too, and look at the limits, fees and stated processing times.
The providers and categories you want, with RTP and stake information you can find.
Available support channels and hours, account-security measures, and clear information on identity checks and personal data.
Spending and time limits, short breaks and self-exclusion that you can set from your account.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, Ontario has province-wide tools and free, confidential help.
BetGuard, launched in May 2026, is Ontario’s centralized self-exclusion service. One request excludes you from all regulated Ontario gambling sites, including OLG.ca, so you don’t have to close accounts casino by casino. You can choose 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom period. BetGuard customer care: 1-833-776-7171.
Every regulated Ontario casino must give you tools to set spending and time limits, take a short break and self-exclude from that site. They sit in your account settings, and they work alongside BetGuard, not instead of it.

Generally, no. Recreational gambling winnings are not taxable in Canada and don’t need to be reported as income. The exception is when gambling is carried on as a business or source of income, which depends on how organized and regular the activity is (a test the Federal Court of Appeal applied again in 2025 in Fournier-Giguère v. Canada). Interest or other income earned on your winnings can be taxable. If you are unsure, check CRA guidance or ask a tax professional.
19. Regulated sites check your age when you register and during identity verification.
You can open an account or log in to an existing one from anywhere, but you can only place wagers while you are physically in Ontario. Geolocation checks block betting from outside the province.
Identity verification (KYC) confirms that you are of legal age, that the payment method is yours and that the account isn’t used for fraud or money laundering. Casinos can ask for photo ID, proof of address or additional documents where required. Completing any requested verification promptly can help avoid additional delays when a withdrawal is processed.
No. A licence from Malta, Curaçao or another jurisdiction doesn’t make a site part of Ontario’s regulated market. Only operators in the iGaming Ontario directory (plus OLG.ca) are authorized here, and only they fall under Ontario’s player protections and complaint process.
Start with the casino’s own complaint process and get a complaint number. If it isn’t resolved, escalate to iGaming Ontario. Regulatory concerns such as illegal activity or misleading advertising go to the AGCO. The full steps are in the section on what to do if an Ontario casino won’t pay.
Use BetGuard (1-833-776-7171): one request covers every regulated Ontario site, including OLG.ca, for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom period. For a single casino, use the self-exclusion tool in your account.
