Soft2Bet Partners with IBIA to Safeguard Sports Betting Integrity in Ontario
Soft2Bet has been on a mission to extend its operations throughout the Ontario gambling market. Recently, it was announced that the platform provider secured a partnership with IBIA. This will allow the company to step into Ontario’s online sports betting scene.
In March 2024, Soft2Bet obtained an AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) license. The platform’s main focus at the time was its premier site TwoonieBet, as it entered the legal online casino Ontario market.
This is a major step forward for Soft2Bet as it takes on another part of Canada. Currently, IBIA works with over 50 of the leading online gambling operators in the province and has 125+ casino and sportsbook brands under its name.
With Soft2Bet approved in Ontario, the online sports betting market is expected to see considerable growth in the upcoming years. IBIA platforms account for roughly 50% of Ontario’s online sports betting industry. The company generates roughly $300 billion annually. But, as the market grows, it’s expected to see a substantial profit increase as well. Since online gambling in Ontario became regulated, online sportsbooks profits have grown 92%. It’s forecasted to rise to 97% by 2028.
