TonyBet’s Niitvälja Golf WIP 2023: Tee Off to Victory!

The annual Niitvälja Golf W.I.P Scramble 2023 by Tonybet took place in Niitvälja on Sunday, October 1. A fun game structure combined with lovely weather welcomed 108 players to the course.

An invention of the team HCP stroke game in the Scramble format was the game format of the Niitvälja Golf W.I.P Scramble 2023 by Tonybet competition. The team consisted of four people, and according to the format, only three golf clubs (WIP – wood, iron, putter) were permitted to be used in this match. To achieve the best outcome possible, the team members could decide among themselves who would use which golf club. Every member of the team has to choose at least three kickoffs.

The following players had the best performance in team HCP stroke play:

In the first place, we have Aivar Paalberg Jr., Karl Kreevs, Hart Oskar Aoveer, and Rasmus Kivila Jr. with 62 shots (net).
In the second place, we have Aivar Riimets, Marek Lemsalu, Sulev Kodu, and Raivo Rimm with 64 shots (net).
In third place, we have Kristo Tohver, Peeter Tohver, Indrek Visnapuu, and Robert Weir with 65 shots (net).

Players with the most outstanding performances:

Kadi Riin Vehejaus is the closest to the flag on lane 6 at 2.20 m.
Sulev Jalasto (5.18 m) is the closest to the flag on lane 11.
Lauri Ulla and Kadi Riin Vehejaus had the longest opening shot on lane 1.
Hart Oskar Aoveer and Kristel Vahejaus had the longest opening shot on the 18th hole.
